This SMS delivery method allows SMS messages to be sent to an SMS gateway server using an HTTP request. The HTTP request URL is customisable, this allows you to use just about any SMS gateway that accepts HTTP request queries to send SMS messages (to make it easier to set up the SMS Service option sets the correct parameters for some existing servers.

 

This delivery method can be enabled for all users by selecting HTTP Server from the Send SMS messages using option.

 

Setting the SMS HTTP Server Device address option overrides the site-wide Send SMS messages using option and makes the PC use the SMS HTTP Server for SMS delivery.
