Invoice Templates

Invoice templates allow PRS printed invoices to be fully customised on an Invoice Type by Invoice Type basis. An Invoice Template is a Microsoft Word document containing bookmarks that mark where invoice record fields are inserted.

 

Invoice templates reside in the PRS Shared Data folder. The PRS automatically associates template files with Invoice Types by matching the PRS Invoice Type Description (set using the Tools->Setup->Invoice Types menu command) with the template file name. For example if the invoice type description were Contract Invoice then the template would be named Contract Invoice.doc and would reside in the PRS Shared Data folder.
