Name

Description

Form

A window that displays fields from one or more records in the database. Database records are entered and edited via forms. The main PRS forms are Personnel, Vacancies, Sites and Invoices.

Field

A named data item contained within a record. For example 'First Name' and 'Gender' are two Personnel record fields.

Record

A set of field values that describe a single data entity. For example a Vacancy record contains information relating to a single vacancy.

Database

Shared files stored on disk containing recruitment data. All vacancy, site, personnel and invoicing records are stored in the PRS database.

Report

A printable report containing data from the database.
